IIFA Awards 2009

One of the biggest highpoints of any awards night is the hosts and the Idea IIFA Awards never ceases to provide the best year after year. No one can beat Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh, the duo who hosted the Idea IIFA Awards 2008 in Bangkok and overwhelmed the audience with their hilarious and entertaining acts. This year, they are back with a bang for the 10th Idea IIFA awards with the eloquent Lara Dutta joining them as a host. Lara had first hosted the IIFA Awards way back in 2002, held in Malaysia. The ex- Miss Universe had just made her debut then. Lara later hosted the Idea IIFA Awards in Yorkshire in 2007 with Boman. This is comedy Czar Boman Irani’s third consecutive year as host.

The Videocon IIFA Weekend will be held in Macau from June 11 – 13, 2009 at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel. The 10th Idea IIFA Awards promises some electrifying onstage performances with Sonam Kapoor making her debut and Kareena Kapoor’s mesmerizing performance.
